About John Verry

II am working toward making a difference in our local communities. With my background in education and experience in law and local government, I bring a problem-solving approach to consulting and engaging with people in Darfield and the surrounding towns and rural communities.

As a member of the Malvern Community Board, I will be able to contribute to the creation of vibrant communities, so our area has the amenities so we can enjoy the natural environment and lifestyle that has attracted many here to live.

My experience in managing legal and regulatory functions in local government has given me the knowledge and skills to handle challenges. I am committed to identifying issues, developing solutions, and evaluating their feasibility to ensure effective problem-solving.

SDC Representation Review

The review needs to be done by August 2024.

SDC has a Representation Review Committee as a work in progress, so we need to engage with the Committee so we can be involved in the representation we will have for the Local Body elections in October 2025.
